Customs duties and taxes for delivery to the UAE

No need to calculate duties yourself. Aramex delivers parcels to the UAE and other Gulf countries on DDP terms: we pay duties and taxes in advance, and the shipping price already includes them.

What this means for you

Your parcel won't be held at customs over unpaid duties.
The Aramex courier won't ask you for any extra payment on delivery.

When duties apply

In the UAE, parcels worth up to AED 1,000 (about $272) are duty-free. Above that, customs charges 5% duty and 5% VAT on the value of the goods plus shipping and insurance. We pay these amounts for you.
